The rich fund counts 2000 collected and processed exhibits at the Museum of tobacco and 750 of them are exposed. The majority are the pipes. Wealth of motives, ornaments, many of them are from world famous manufacturers including those, who were exposed to the world exhibitions in Vienna and Paris in the 18th and 19th century. The chibouks are the pride of the Tobacco Museum. Made of gold, silver, enamel, mother of pearl, ivory and bone of rhinoceros, they really are unique. The snuffboxes present the times when the tobacco was used as a medicament, in form of snuff and with unavoidable seal of prevailing “court taste”. Impressive are the snuffboxes made of polished wood, turtle armor and nephritis. The value of the exhibits for the production, storage and enjoyment of tobacco placed this museum in one of the best equipped in the Balkans. The collection with its rarity, excellence and beauty leaves the visitors breathless, reminding them of its luxury that tobacco is a phenomenon of the absurd. This rare museum collection is not just a privilege for smokers and experts, but for the visitors is a real feast for the eyes.
