Treskavec

The monastery complex Treskavec with the Church "Assumption of the Mother of God” is built on the older cult place. The church was built in XIII century. Later, several times the monastery complex is destroyed and updated. Inside the church there is two wing carved door that dates back to the XVI century and belongs to Prilep – Slepche carving School. The frescoes in the church "Assumption of the Mother of God” in the monastery Treskavec has been made in several stages. The oldest painting was made between 1334 and 1343.
