St. Cyril and Methodius

The construction of the church “St. Cyril and Methodius” began in 1926. The biggest part was completed by 1936, and the central dome was completed in 2005. It's built next to a small church and therefore it is called a Chapel. In the basement of the church, there are bones of fallen soldiers from the Balkan and the First World War.

St. Transfiguration

St. Transfiguration

The church “St. Transfiguration”, known as the "Greek Church" was built in 1871. It is three arcs, five domes building in cruciform structure with a designated central dome. The northwest side stretches a long porch, which is mounted on pilasters and arches. Frescoes in the church are with modest artistic qualities.

St. Athanasius

St. Athanasius

Right over the road leading to St. Archangel Michael, on the right side, there are remnants of the former medieval church of St. Athanasius. There aren’t preserved any historical data, or any posts on the church. The church has right angled base with an inscribed cross and dome (now demolished), it is carried by four monolithic pillars, of which only two are preserved on the eastern side. Built in a combination of carved blocks of freestone and bricks, typical building of XIV century.

St. Virgin Mary

St. Virgin Mary

The first set monument of church's building in this field arise at the time of Turkish occupation and that is the church's Holy Virgin Mary, situated above the road at the foot of Marko's Towers. The size, material and construction of the church show all the modesty, characteristic of church buildings occurred during the Turkish rule.

St. Peter and Paul

The church of St. Peter and Paul is located in the eastern part of the Varosh settlement . It is single nave building with a modest size, stressed height and semicircular apse on the eastern side.
